He was born in 1982 in Elazig. He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 2006. After graduation, he worked as a practitioner for 1 year. Between 2007-2013, he specialized in general surgery at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. He has memberships such as IFSO (International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders) and the Bariatric Metabolic Surgery Association. He gained experience in endoscopy and advanced laparoscopy surgery with the Vocational Trainings, Courses and Conferences he attended.
