Namık YILMAZ, M.D.

He was born in 1972 in Antakya, Turkey. He studied the English language in middle and high school. He graduated from Medical Faculty at Ankara Gazi University. Following graduation, He worked as an emergency physician for 1 year. Between 2000 and 2006, He did a residency in surgery at the General Surgery Unit of the Medical Faculty, Erciyes University. In 2006, He qualified to be duly elected as an active member of the Turkish Surgical Association. In the same year, He passed all written and oral exams of the Turkish Board of Surgery with a degree. In 2017 He has satisfied all requirements for Board of Surgery recertification and was reaffirmed. During his professional career, he authored many scientific publications and built professional skills through especially advanced laparoscopy and bariatric surgery courses in Europe.
